Paper Relics was created by Hope Wallace Karney in 2004. Little did she know that her love of old paper and glue would turn into a full time job. Hope grew up nurturing a huge imagination, which, coupled with her sentimental tendencies have helped her develop a unique product line.
She is known for mixing old elements with modern aesthetics to create unique and whimsical designs. Her stationery, rubber-stamp and ephemera lines all evoke a bygone era. Her work has been featured in several national magazines, including Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion and Country Living, as well as books and high profile blogs.
Besottment is Hope's personal blog where she showcases her personal art journals and crafting projects. She regularly posts free antique images for anyone to download and use, tutorials, and offers journaling e-courses.
Hope also guest posts about creativity and journaling on various blogs that can be accessed through the "Find Me Elsewhere" sidebar button. Besottment was featured in the Summer 2010 issue of Stampington's Artful Blogging.
